ATTORNEY FERİHA BAŞALAN

Born on the 12^th of September 1952, Attorney Ahmet Başalan obtained his license degree of Law from the University of Istanbul, Faculty of Law in 1980 and has started to work as a trainee at the same year.

After completing his trainee, he begun to work as a freelance attorney by being registered with the Istanbul Bar on October 16, 1981 under the registration No. 12167, in the meantime, he applied for an MA program of 2 years in Istanbul University, Faculty of Business Administration, Institute of Business Economics and earned his MA degree on April 26, 1982.

He went to Britain to improve his professional knowledge and experience and attended various training programs in the City of London Polytechnic. Upon his return to Turkey on 1984, Attorney Ahmet Başalan has continued to concentrate his studies on intellectual and industrial property, foreign investments and incorporation law.

After the mentioned period, upon the improvement of intellectual and industrial property and increasing density on the efforts to reach European norms for these rights, Attorney Ahmet Başalan has concentrated his studies on intellectual and industrial property rights protection, foreign investment and incorporation law.

Afterwards, Attorney Ahmet Başalan has attended the examination on June 27, 1995 arranged according to the new implementation of the Turkish Patent Institute and has obtained the position of official patent & trademark Attorney. Presently, Attorney Ahmet Başalan is continuing to work on the fields of intellectual and industrial property rights protection, foreign investment and incorporation law by obtaining the position of  European Patent Attorney before European Patent Office.

Born on the March 15, 1966, Attorney Feriha Başalan has obtained her license degree of Law from Istanbul University, Faculty of Law in 1989 and has started to work as a trainee at the same year.

After completing her trainee, she begun to work as a freelance attorney particularly in the fields of unfair competition, trademarks, patents law by being registered with the Istanbul bar on the October 4, 1990 under registration No. 16861, and meanwhile, she studied Contemporary Business Management in English at Marmara University, Faculty of Business Administration.

After the mentioned period, upon the improvement of intellectual and industrial property and increasing density on the efforts to reach European norms for these rights, Attorney Feriha Başalan has concentrated her studies on intellectual and industrial property rights protection, foreign investment and incorporation law.
